Martin Hartley
“Dave Brosha’s photography, like Dave, is honest and it has a lot of heart, to find both of these qualities consistently in a photographers portfolio is rare gift indeed.”

“…..the master of the environmental portrait”
“Here is a guy with great talent that is not full of himself and that really loves photography and is willing to share and help out anyone interested in the craft. More and more the photographers that I see that are the most creative and successful are those who are not afraid to share. The givers always seem to receive in kind….”

Lewis MacKinnon
“Viewing Dave Brosha’s art is like being able to experience perhaps just a small reflection of the awesomeness of what the ‘Divine’ might be like. To use a Wordsworth analogy, Brosha is able to capture a ’spot’ of time. Not a ’spot’ of time that speaks to us via letters and sounds, but natural and human made images of colour captured in all their complexities and splendour…his migration to Northern Canada has provided him with a wealth of humbling, awe-inspiring, truly breath-taking natural wonders that add fuel to his personal quest to capture the beautiful, the magnificent, the raw, the unleashed and unfettered images to which he sets his mind and camera.
His photography is truly an inspiration. It takes us to another plain wherein we come face to face with that which is beyond our mortal space and yet entices and draws us to that which is perhaps our ultimate dwelling place – the eternal”.
Lewis is Gaelic singer, recording artist , and member of the East Coast Celtic band, Jug In Hand, 2006
Janet Pacey
“I’ve worked with Dave quite a bit over the years and I’m stunned by both the quality of his photography and the excellent service he provides.
The first time I hired Dave was for a shoot for the 25th Anniversary of the CBC True North Concert held in Yellowknife in June of 2006. He shot all the behind the scenes rehearsals, the live show and all of the dignitaries including Governor General Michaëlle Jean. He was so professional we barely noticed he was there – but the shots he came back with were stunning. CBC continues to use those shots to this day in a lot of their advertising and promotion.
Most recently I have been using Dave’s excellent stock photography of the Yellowknife area. They’re excellent shots that I can use in a variety of documents and they’ve always got the impact I need for my clients.

Arieh Singer
“I hired Dave for one project and we became friends instantly,” says Arieh Singer of TMP Worldwide Advertising and Communications. “Dave is an incredible professional. Too often you work with professionals and you have to babysit them. I can completely and utterly trust the brief will be handled properly once I give it to him. He is able to handle logistics and costs and you can let him go with it. He can understand and translate a creative concept from paper and convey it emotionally and in an innovative way. He is a great professional, let alone a great artist.”
Arieh Singer is the Director of Digital Strategy, TMP Worldwide Communications and Advertising.
Jamie Look
“Dave Brosha shines. Not only in his photography skills but also in his professionalism and passion. I was contracted to coordinate the Fashion Show portion of the Cultural Gala for the International Congress on Circumpolar Health held at NACC in July 2009. We had an incredible collection of northern designers work I knew this moment needed to be documented with care.
Not every photographer can shoot fashion. I hired Dave to shoot the final line up the night before the show. He easily directed and engaged a sophisticated and playful mood amongst the models which is an element that I request in all photography that is documented under my creative direction.
Dave not only exceed my expectations; he carefully provided quality photos worthy of every team member’s portfolios, whether they were an established fur garment house or an emerging model or makeup artist. This speaks volumes about Dave’s spectral vision and I truly anticipate working with him for years to come.
Jamie Look is one of the north’s most sough-after Fashion Designer and Jewelry Artists.
