In the winter of 2004-2005 I probably took close to 300 images of Aurora Borealis; this was probably my personal favourite. Some nights the lights are too dull, some they’re actually too bright for effective moon/aurora combos. Some nights the lights are perfect but you’re in the wrong place for a memorable composition. This night, it felt like, finally, things came together.
